The capital campaign website main landing page (home page) copy should be emotionally driven and donor-focused, but not “salesly.” This is not a crowdfunding campaign, it is the landing page for a capital campaign.

The sections should highlight different facets of the need and/or build upon each other to form a narrative that engages and builds a case for the campaign.

  • Page Heading (5-12 words)
  • Subheading (around 25 words)
  • 3 or 4 sections of text, which will be aligned with a photo/image – each section needs:
    • a heading (3-5 words)
    • some text (around 35 words)
  • Final text section (25 words)
  • Call to action sentence (10-25 words)
