Stripe recently added a new requirement recently, especially for new accounts, to prove PCI (Payment Card Industry) security compliance in order to use its API integration.
Check if your account is authorized for API use
You can check it out in your integration settings here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/integration.
"Handle card information directly” needs to be toggled on.
– If it’s on, we’re good to go. Let us know so we can test to make sure.
– If it’s on, we’re good to go. Let us know so we can test to make sure.
– If it’s off, we need to send a request to Stripe to turn it on – see below.
HiRaiser is recognized by Stripe and has a high security rating, so we can use HiRaiser's PCI security certification.
You can submit the request yourself, or have HiRaiser do it for you.
OPTION 1:
Submit the request to Stripe yourself
- While logged into Stripe, click on this link here.
- It will open a contact form with most of the necessary fields pre-filled for you.
- In the form, you'll need to attach the HiRaiser PCI certificate. You can download it it here.
- Submit the form. Stripe should notify you within 24-48 hours that the integration has been enabled on your account.
- When you receive the notification from Stripe, let us know by forwarding it to team@hiraiser.com.
You can also send the following message to Stripe (support@stripe.com) to help expedite the process:
Hi, We would like raw card data API enabled for our account in order to use it with the HiRaiser platform. The Stripe Account Name is: NAME The Stripe Account ID is: ID You should have HiRaiser's PCI compliance documentation on file, but I am resubmitting here (attached).
OPTION 2:
Have HiRaiser handle it for you
If you want us to handle the process for you, add HiRaiser (team@hiraiser.com) as a new member in your Stripe account Team settings here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/team.
Once you add us, we’ll take care of the rest.
